The New England Saab Association will be holding a horse shoe tournament at this year's Carlisle Import Auto show. The play will be conducted in a bracket style system, with single elimination. Two people per team. There will be a trophy for the winning team as well. Due to what I expect to be high interest levels the tourney will start friday night at 19:00. I would ask that teams see me to sign up and determine whom they will be playing with as early as possible.

damn i wish i could do this! unfortunetly it looks as though we wont be there till LATE friday or early sat. i would love to play some shoes though. been a long time.

Casey, if you know what time you'll be there i'll schedule you for a later game so that you can still play. Plan on playing for now, we'll work the details out later. Don't want anybody to miss out.
Yes teams of two. Everybody should give it a shot. Just watch me set the thing up and get knocked out in the first round. I don't think I have played horse shoes since I was 8.

The rules of horseshoe are fairly simple.
Every time you fail to nail the shoe - you take a slug of your favorite brewski.

Thankfully the sets we have came with little rule booklets, I have a feeling they will come into play.
I will be there this year. Heading down with about 6 cars from Automotion. We usually have a good ride down and back to say the least.
