I just got back after picking it up at Meyer Garage.

It is an awesome car, very Saaby.

Pics and a longer write up will have to wait until tomorrow evening. I have to go to bed to get up at 0-dark-30 for a early morning court hearing in far suburban Dakota County.

But after putting 140 miles on it, I'm very happy.

Awesome, glad you got it from Meyer. Can't wait to see pics! Did you figure out your snow tire setup yet?

Congrats, Greg. I'm glad to hear that the Meyer people (and Saab, of course) are getting some support and you're getting a sweet new ride.

Was there any temptation to hold off until the 9-5 expanded it's launch?

I.E., instead of the top of the line automatic only V-6, waiting for a 6mt 4 cylinder to be available?

Here are some very early pics - I'll be doing more later, but here's the first blush:

For those of you who doubted my Dakota County courthouse run:

And here is me taking delivery at Meyer Garage last night:

I went around and around on that. The real issue was the advanced suspension setup was not available on the four cylinder - I wanted the HiPer strut and the new stuff in the rear.

My preferred configuration would have been four cylinder, XWD, HiPer-strut, and 6mt. But that particular combination is not available in the US, at least in MY-11. So I went and got an Aero right now.

Having driven the 2.8T with auto, though, I like it quite a bit.
