This is Snabb SAAB, my '95 900 SE. She is gorgeous in red and had 33,415 miles when I bought it on 7 July 2010. She is still wearing the original Michelin Pilot tires that she wore at the factory floor in Trollhätan, and there is an extra set of Gislaved studded tires for the winter. I can't wait to try her in the snow!

My plans include a stage 1 ECU tune, 2.5" exhaust, K&N with modded filter box, lowered springs with Koni shocks, and a few other goodies. She also needs new control arm bushings as they are starting to dry rot. Other than that, everything is 100%.

Here are some pics.

WOW! that is one CLEAN NG900! congrats on the great find. just take care of her!
Great looking car!
Yeah, the former owner apparently was an elderly man who owned this and a Ford F250, he drove the SAAB in town and the F250 when he went out. The old man died last year and the family had gotten the car on the estate and didn't have a need for an European hatchback. The guy's son told me he doesn't remember his father ever driving this car out of town.

The car was pampered: the factory warranty booklet has all the stamps and stickers you'd expect to see on a car that has been maintained by a dealership.

I initially was looking for a car half this price for a daily driver, but this one was too good to pass up. I am loving it.
Nice, do you have a block heater installed for winter? Good luck in AK with a very very nice looking SAAB
Block heater, engine oil pan heater, battery trickle charger, sheepskin seat covers. This car has been an Alaskan car since 1995.
Today I did a lot to my SAAB: ordered 2.5" BSR exhaust, K&N filter, steering rack brace, rear sway bar and some odds and ends from GS; won an eBAy auction for a Lamco pod mounted boost gauge that is made for an STi but will do fine on a SAAB; changed oil to Lubro Moly 5W-40 synthetic with Mobil 1 filter; replaced the cabin air filter; removed micro swirls from body with a great 3M paint scrubber; cleaned and detailed body and engine. I forgot the camera inside the car outside but the engine looks great all clean!

Here's another pic of her:

Here are three videos I made tonight, sorry about the darkness, I will make some in daylight later on:

SAAB Sport exhaust sound in my garage

Acceleration from stand still to 110 mph

Sounded like you hammered 1st pretty hard.

35k miles, driven like it was stolen, I like it. This car is so clean I am so jealous.

The SAAB is wearing the studded snow tires, 185/65-15, I lost traction pretty soon on pavement and spun the tires faster than I expected. The revs rise quick on these things!
Yeah you gotta ease 1st in these cars, is yours tuned yet? Talk about loosing traction...
