They made a 16v header up for me about 6 month ago but it took a lot of pestering / sweet talking.


From their point of view it is easier to make them in batches rather than one at a time and back in the day they could do that but nowadays freaks like us who want to tune NA 900s are few and far between.

I have seen quite a few posts for people after MSS 16v headers, at least half a dozen people saying how much they wanted one. I tried to get a 'group buy' on here and Saab Central to facilitate this, get a better price and help a few people out. No one wanted to know.

I presume that's what you're referring to?

Might, if I keep my 16V n/a 900 now I have the 9000, look at these as an option to improve the 900.

Did anyone discover more about these items? Now that I'm gearing up to get the black 1992 2.1 hatchback running which I bought before I pranged my red 89 900i and wrote that off in Feb, I'm contemplating ways to improve the exhaust side.

The car will need a new exhaust setup and I might look at the stuff MSS used to make. Interested if there are pics around esp. if they are good comparisons between the Saab original parts and the MSS ones.

I've got one. New never installed $150.00 plus shipping.

Buy Marty's (moonracer). I was thinking of a price to part with mine and it was much higher than that. If I didn't already have them, I'd buy his. Great price.

this summer I ordered a new header to replace the first one I have a 91 900 non turbo I was told he still had two or three headers left if it helps I am having my old header welded back together if you are in need this was his suggestion because of their availability and he is ready to retire

what will you take for it? Pm me.I have most of a new exhaust for the car,it's mainly my work beater.
