This car was SPOTLESS. Very nice. I like the color too. It was not spotless after the drive though.

My view of most of the drive.

Yes, it was my aim to destroy cars.

Palmer, if you have your own club then why do you come on here all the time? ;-)

Also, weren't people warned about gravel roads? Was anyone forcing people to drive in excess of conditions on these roads?
LOL. I know, right?

Also, I was forcing people. That's why Bruno co-drove*

I've been a big fan of gravel roads ever since I learned they were good shortcuts on the farm grid of the Midwest and then ended up moving to a state where you could probably drive end to end on them with not too much planning.

That said, if you don't drive them regularly or have much experience with them in the first place, it can take some time to relax, loosen your arms and not try to react to every little jiggle coming up the steering wheel.

I've been doing high speed on loose gravel since I was 14 years old learning to drive on my uncle's farm. I love loose gravel, its pretty much like driving on snow.

I remember that we were going to have a drive in October, or at least that's what was mentioned at a recent meeting. I did not know that this one was the replacement for the October drive...:-(

So confused. I was with Jessop/Champ. We thought at the meeting it had been said there was an October drive.

Bad assumption on our part, we thought the most recent one (which we couldn't make) took the place of the October drive.

Who cares, there will be other drives, etc.

We do have a secretary, Jim Paulson.

I will check with him re: comments at the August meeting. But if such comments were made I think they were casual and not part of the "business meeting" of the club.

It would be great if we could have a QUICK recap of meetings. Nothing detailed, just casual stuff, here's what we did, here's what's coming up next, dates to keep in mind, etc

That would be nifty. Plus it gives the secretary something to do, besides an empty title. ;)
