I'm thinking my MAP sensor is misbehaving.. It seems the idle is a bit rough and the thing is 'not quite right' at throttle tip in. Seemingly there is too little fuel being delivered at low rpms.
Alegedly this is classic for a failing MAP ?? . Don't know, just asking:)
(Yes! everything else is healthy and is seemingly fine:).
Ummm.. can this MAP thing be 'fixed'?
I ask as I've seen successful "rebuilds" of the Boost solenoid.. against all odds/ beliefs. Has anyone seen evidence of successful surgery on this wee rascal?
OR is it even worth it given the $50 price of a Clone replacement?
