HEY, I WAS LOOKING TO UPGRADE MY 2000 2.3 LPT TO AN AERO AS COST EFFECTIVELY AS POSSIBLE. LOOKING AT PARTS, IT'S PRETTY INEXPENSIVE TO GET AN AERO TURBO AND ECU. IS THIS ALL I NEED?

LPT to HPT

The engine internals are slightly different ( Nimonic Exhaust Valves,
Reinforced pistons) between the B235E(LPT) and B235R(HPT) up until the 2001 model year. From 2001 the internals are basically the same between the two.
Otherwise its just;
- ECU
- Mitsubishi TD04HL-15T turbo
- Platinum NGK PFR7 H-10 plugs
- Oil and H2O lines to the turbo have different end connectors

so in 2001 the aero and the SE have the same internals? arent the brakes also different?

Yeah, people seem to forget the brakes, the suspension and the seats

I thought the LPT's use the TD04-17T, not a a 15T

LPT's are a garrett GT-17 vs. the Mitsu TDO04-15t that came in the Aero's, two totally different turbos
