I'm looking at replacing my smoking t3 with a t3/t3 hybrid.

G-Pop Shop gave me this option as a start

T3/T4 T04E Compressor
360 degree thrust bearing
"Stage 3" turbine housing in either .48ar or .63ar

Does the T04E come in only one trim?

Thoughts?

Go with a Garret GT30 dual ball-bearing. I'm still kicking myself for not getting a GTBB when I had a chance.
Ok, I should of been more clear.

1. I want something that will bolt on. (Don't want to fab oil lines)
2. I don't want to spend $$$$
3. I don't want to fish stripped gears out of the transmission.

I'm leaning towards just upgrading the compressor to a 60 trim t3 and calling it a day.

i've got a turbonetics t3/t4 from my old spg that i'm selling. .60/.48 i think? it's as bolt up as you can get for these types of things. oil cooled only. pm me if you're interested.

The T3-T4 hybrid is the route you want to take as it will provide you with both quicker spool up times (because a smaller impeller on the inducer side will spool up faster from the exhaust gases) AND more boost (due to the larger vanes on the exducer side), all in the same package, which means faster throttle responses.
