I have that Trempex with the same logo on the windshield of the 79 5 door dated Dec. 78,

Trempex with no bull but the heart shape on the rear door small windows dated 81, but on the opposite side with the bull dated Nov. 78.

I have a Jan of 79 opera window without the bull, So maybe it was a logo Trempex used up till 1979. The opposite opera window is a Nov of 78 and has it still.

I have a feeling it's pointing out that the glass is 'toughened.'

I will take a peek at all the classics at the shop tomorrow.

Trempex Bull

showing off the saab yesterday, told my buddy the glass was made by Lamborghini. He was fascinated.
Whats the story behind this Bull emblem, anyone know ?
My step dad was GM at Tremex in Eslov, Sweden in the early 70's, the bull was to emphasize the strenght of the glass. They produced some laminated safety windshields, but mostly toughened auto glass like side windows. Later Scanex manufactured most windshields for both Volvo and Saab. Trempex was sold to Saint Gobain, and Scanex went to Pilkington. The Heart logo with the "B" and the "S" is British Standard for quality.
