i know this may have been discussed before, but ive seen on a couple forums people saying K&N filters let a lot of dirt through. Im running K&N drop in filters in my 9-5 and 9000, should i switch back to stock or a different brand? Do they really let in a lot of dirt? or should i not be worried?

They arent too bad, but the biggest issue is over oiling the filter and mucking up your maf sensor....but after a couple cleanings you can start to see openings in the filter material. Personally i would use the aem dryflow filter. They filter better, are easier to clean and are much more durable.

obviously the 9-5 will be much more sensitive to debris and water due to location and MAF, as for a 9000 Ive never had a issue but I keep it really clean.
