Someone ripped off my Ipod headphones which totally fucks up my bike ride. So I was wondering what people would recommend, the original pod phones or some after-market ones?

Depends on how anal you are about sound quality. If the original iPod ones didn't bother you, then just find something cheap that looks comfortable. I have a hookup at Skullcandy so I use those. I got the 'Smokin Budz'($30 retail) ones, which are great for earbuds. The gummy/plastic sleeve does do a lot for keeping out external sound, and they have pretty good sound quality.

I also have a pair of the SK Pro's(half price of retail.. Thank you Kiera!) which are outstanding fullsize headphones.

Alright since I work at Radio Shack I'll give you my input and yes I have a pair try these

They go in like earplugs and yes they block out outside noise. Some even have an inline mute button cause with your music playing trust me you can't here what is going on around you. They are very comfortable for up to well how long does your battery last? (well I couldn't even feel them after a half hour) They have great sound too, nice deep base and they cost well it is a little steep $20. Plus their white and will match the old ones you had.

I also have a pair of Sennheiser PXC 300 noise cancelling head phones that I picked up in Singapore on teh way back to Oz. These are the ducks guts and I love them... usually where them sitting at my mac when working. Highly recommend!! Bit pricey when I bought them at about sing$320 (aud$280)... but here they are around aud$450!

ha what kinda riding are you doing, what avg speed? I find that at `20mph, especially wit bs headwind, the wind noise effects the music...

i have the skinny sony ones that flip over and around your ear, not the earmuff type though...

I get half off of Shure stuff, otherwise i would NEVER buy it. I have a pair of E2C's that I use on plane rides and stuff..they wrap around your ear to wierd to ride with anyway.

For everyday I have some low end sennnheisers. They were 38 bills. they sound awesome for the price.

I work 12hours a week at Circuit city, which JUST qualifies me for the vendor accomadations. I got my nikon SLR for a good discount too.

its not worth asking me to get it for you, becuase the stuff takes forever to ship, like 3-6 weeks. it comes from shure, tahts why.
