I had a nice 9000 turbo, which is now owned by a member here. Going to the Viggen is night and day.

 

how much more would insurnce cost? if its way more than i won't do it, i'm in my car way too cheap to go pay a bunch for another and end up costing me more in the long run

 

I don't know about a viggen but when I got the insurance for my 9-3 SE it was cheaper than my 9000 CSE is.

 

Saabs, even Viggens shouldn't cost too much for insurance. They tend not to be expensive cars to insure.

My Viggen costs very little. Its only a few dollars more than our non turbo 9-2x.
It was only $150 a year more than my 9000.

I have started to speed a lot more, since I have a 60 mile commute, I can make up time if I drive 90 a lot compared to 70.

 

I meant traffic school given by the state.

 

I had a 94 9k Aero, and when I got the Viggen, it actually went down several dollars a month. YMMV.

 

I had to take the drivers safety course as well. It took points off, however it really didn't do much for my insurance payments.
