I went to Europe. These are my car photos. Monaco/Trollhattan content. (3G suicide.)

In June 2011 I spent 3 weeks in Europe to visit family in Paris and do some exploring. I only just got around to sorting through the mass of photos and these are the car-related ones. I'll add a link later in the week for the other 500-ish non-car photos when I get them uploaded.

I was in Nice for a weekend and spent a day in Monaco. The F1 GP was in town the previous weekend. (Couldn't make it for logistical and monetary reasons.)

Walk out of the train station. Oh, hi.

Then I went to the Prince of Monaco's Vintage Car Collection/Museum. It was extremely dark in there and I only had an f4 lens with me.

I didn't have to be back in Gothenburg for 18 hours, so I made a run for Norway, just for the hell of it.

Awesome shots, looks like a great trip! I hope they save the museum and it stays open, I* would love to go there before I leave Europe.

That 96-looking thing with the plate PADDAN is "The Toad", a widened 96 chasis that was the secret mule for testing the what would later become the 99. So much cool stuff in that museum! Thanks for sharing the shots!

love the tvr. its a real shame about that small company. they have/had tremendous talent. the last cars, including that tuscan, and the awesome sagaris, i wish made it over here.

the monaco collection has some excellent bugattis, and some great oddballs like the r8 and the lancias. but you'd expect moar exotic fare such as a zonda, 959... excepting the bugattis, there are more impressive collections in private garages over here!

great work jeff. thx for posting.

thanks for the kind words guys. i know a good number of you have been there, but i figured with the recent saab drama it was a good time to finally get the museum pics up.

what camera?
mix of iphone 4 and a canon 5D mk 1 with a 17-40 f4 L, a 50 f1.4, and a 70-200 2.8 IS L.

Wow im jealous, you are one lucky ass:):th_MySaab900Like:
yeah i was really fortunate to go on such an amazing vaca. having family living/working in paris really helped cut down on lodging costs for a big chunk of the trip.

Not enough pictures. :)
i think most people are lazy (myself included) and don't always click thru to flickr albums and similar, so i just dumped 'em all here. :)

Oh. My. Goodness. I NEED to go to the Saab museum! What have I been missing all my life?! I really need to go there!

Also, looks like the Prince has a LOT of super rare stuff!
