yeah, I got a bit of overspray on the discs to but I just drove around the block and did some braking and it's all off the discs now.

 

Careful with that Mr. Clean stuff..takes all the wax off of the car.

I can totally tell when a car comes into my boyfriends shop for a detail that its a mr clean car just from the way the water hits the car.

it's just filtered water...how could it take the wax off?

is it the soap?

 

Its something in there somewhere...

We'll do a full detail and polish and wax a car completely and they'll come back after washing it with that stuff and the car no longer beads like it should with the wax.

 

A car with a good wax will get miniscule water dropplets on it as it gets wet, very tiny, and they tend to roll off the pain, versus sliding off the paint...kind of hard to explain but you know it after youve seen it a few times.

Do you use the Mr.Clean filtered water for the soap bucket or just for rinsing?

 

just for the rinsing...the "filtered" setting on the gun isn't very powerful (in the manual it tells you to do everything...and then only use the filtered water to rinse)

 

looks purty good without giant clouds of smoke

 

hehe I know! hopefully the smoke will be gone in a few months...just gotta keep working and working
