My truck is an E1999 extended cab dually. I converted the front end to the newer, better looking 2005-2007.

Parts:

2007 Lariat Grille with honey comb
2005 Bumper, valence, header panel
2006 H-D headlights with clear reflectors and headlight bulb adapters

All painted black.

I plan on getting LED bulbs for the directionals so I don't have the egg yolk effect when they're off.

Wow, looks really good. The black bumper and grille make the front end looks 10000x better. I second the egg yolk effect, finally replaced my amber directionals in the NG with clear ones, looks way cleaner.

The smalltireslol effect gets me everytime I see pictures of your truck haha :th_MySaab900Like:

Yes, it needs moar bigger tires.

Overall, I like what you did to it.

I loved my Dodge 2500HD 4x4 Quad cab long bed for it's hauling capabilities, but hated it's gas sucking 360 V8. :cussing: 15-17 mpg on the highway, loaded or empty, 10-12 mpg in the city. It had a big hightop fiberglass camper top that probably weighed 600lbs.

I still hate flatbiller trucks.
Says the guy with the old BMW and Saabs. You're gaining hipster street cred.

Cool.

But why does a guy who works in software engineering(right?) need a dully pick up?
I don't need a motorcycle either. I should just have a Geo Metro for basic transportation.

Looks great. I will be getting a Ford truck like this sometime...hopefully sooner than later. What sort of power mods are you running?
4" Mandrel/Stainless Turbo back straight pipe, DP Tuner 8 position chip, AFE Intake, boost fooler and an unplugged wastegate running 30psi.

Perhaps an adrenaline HPOP, injectors and a D66 turbo. The 7.3 is stubborn when it comes to making huge power, but that combo should net me more than 425whp

you need to do a Semi wheel conversion.
x2 on the semi wheels.
No.

I hate the skinny tire look. I will end up putting 35's on my stock wheels and painting them black. Kinda like this:

Looks pretty sick. My dad's friend has a 2005 Harley Davidson F250, so it's got a front end similar to yours. It's pretty awesome, but it was $55k when he bought it new.
