Just saw it tonight too - it was pretty good but I hated the ending. Also - Im sure Ford donated ALOT of money to that film.

is there some scene with the brooklyn bridge in that movie? i heard will smith was filming something there a few blocks from where i live. didn't know if this was the movie.

they told us that the area down by the bridge on the brooklyn side was blocked off but i don't drive during the week so it didn't affect me.

they always film movies down here. the city doesn't care if it messes up traffic. about 2 months ago they filmed something for 2 weeks right outside my apt. it sucked b/c i could hear people yelling at all hours and when i would leave to go to work and come home, people would be sitting on my stoop or having a meeting in front of my door, blocking the way. it's interesting the first time you see a movie being filmed here, but then it becomes a pain in the ass. they always close off tons of streets from parking. last time they filmed near me, they only filmed on 5 blocks but closed off about 8, so drivers were circling endlessly for parking like vultures.

 

Movie can also be seen in IMAX :-D

 

The movie was ok to me but I think that the CGI was to video game'ish.


The Dog deserves an oscar for her role.

saw the movie last night and thought it was quite realistic and kinda freaky in a way.

i also spotted the Saab in the movie and made a comment to my girlfriend about it and she told me to shut up.:roll:

 

saw it opening night...it's so wierd being in a small town. i literally said hi to about half the people in the theater. but the movie was pretty good. i wasnt really expecting the scaryness of it. niether were the two girls next to me
the ending was a bit lame. but it was shot pretty well, and im quite a critic when it comes to directors. the cgi was a bit rough. and i also said "nice saab" out loud. my friends think I'm crazy whenever i do that...

 

I just saw that yesterday. It was a very good movie. I could have done with the CGI toned down a bit though. Everytime a zombie/infected person screamed and their mouth opened say, the size of my head, I just thought about how rediculous that is. Sure, you're infected, but that does not give your jaw permission to defy physics.

 

Also, that Mustang sounded gorgeous

 

the movie wasn't very good. every day was the same shit, and then it was the end.

 

i heard a lot of bad reviews on this movie. honestly think this is the first place i have seen good reviews at all for it.

 

The movie is definitely worth seeing. Favorite part was definitely the supercharger whine at the beginning while he was driving the Mustang. Oh and 1 more note...

Ya, it did. Just got home from watching it. If I was a zombie guy, I'd rearrange all the manikins and put them in front of his house and host a surprise birthday party.

I was more pissed that sam died then the "end the movie" if you know what I mean without spoiling it

 

this movie deserved a better ending. it was like going 120mph for 2 hours and the last 3 minutes were at 2mph. lame. the dog was insane, though.

 

I liked the movie. Saw it today and while you all may not think the ending was good I thought it worked out well. What I liked about the ending was how it tied together subtle comments towards the end.
