95 Badges are A LOT bigger on both generations, I am not sure about the facelift.

 

three prongs are to center is - the double stick tape holds it on. Yes - they are larger then a 9-3 by a bit.

 

Just checked on my 02, both hood and trunk emblems are the same size at about 2.5". I didnt try and pop em off to check the prongs, but it looks like they are just stuck on with glue/tape.

Thats cool that you did this, too. I was planning on making these this weekend haha, now I get to see what it looks like before hand. Very nice!

 

I have a emblem I made, in black and silver (the left one in the picture):

it did not fit my trunk, wrong prongs..... so I looked up the part number and it says 9-5 hood. but it looks too big to go on a hood. can anyone confirm the diameter of the hood badge on their 9-5? and if it had 3 prongs that is a bonus but not necessary

ya the emblem is a little over 2.5in., trust me, i measured it , i was thinking about removing the emblem off of my original Xbox (since i have a 360 now) and replacing it with the Saab 9-5 hood emblem , any thoughts on that crazy, kooky idea?

...and is that a protein stain on that box there?!:-|

well i was half joking but since it doesn't fit my car...

i would take 20 shipped for it. it is missing the third prong on the back, it is not 100% perfect but it looks nice and has been clearcoated with some uv stable self repairing coating.

 

do you plan on making anymore than one or do you already have more than one?

because if so then i would like to purchase one from you since it's black and crome and use it to replace the Xbox emblem on my Xbox1, and of course i would supply pictures after i was done.

 

abduckted i would LOVE that exact badge for a 9000!!!! My whole car is black and silver (minus the brake lights) i think it would look AWSOME.
and i just so happends that my front one is JUST starting to chip too! it would be perfect!!

this one is not perfect (and by that I mean a small bubble or two along the very edge and not 100% smooth, and a broken pring on the back) but I showed it to some people at SIS it is still pretty nice-- it would be on my car right now if it fit, but i was dumb and did not check the part number first. :lol:

I don't have any more already made yet. i am waiting on getting a curing oven or lamp of some sort. then I will make all sorts of badges in all sorts of colors and designs and wheel caps to match too. but I only have so many used caps and badges, and those i am using to "practice" on.....so people would need to send me their old ones as "cores"

not sure what you are asking about the Xbox thing?

if you have old flaky silvered emblems save them they are worth somethng to me, or maybe to you if you want them customized at some point.

 

see the green emblem on top of the system? what i want to do is, remove that green emblem (which happens to be the same size as the Saab 9-5 emblem) and glue on a Saab emblem in its place.

so yeah this one is for sale. like i said if it fit my car it wouldbe on my trunk right now.

the clear is pretty cool, in the second pic where it has the clear you can see the relfection of my ceiling fan :lol:

I will make them as long as I am satisfied with the result on the next round, just waiting like I said to get a curing station set up.

color choices, oh yeah, plenty of colors and designs all ready to go, Saab in all colors combos, griffin gear logo in different combos, special viggen badging, swedish air force style badging and much more, even reflective or color shifting material are available for something truly unique and custom. :shock:

i hate to keep bringing it up when they are not "perfect" yet, but i keep getting all sorts of questions about it.
