Well i hit a fucking deer i love fucking NH. Figured i would Share. Prob going to be totaled. There is a lot of dirt in the engine bay because i had to put out a fire from the turbo. I came to NH for the weekend for bike week. I have about 3k in parts i was going to put on for SOC. I'm hurt. . .

Going to ship out Powerflex bushings.....

None of my parts were on the car still the old turbo. Just the Genuine 25mm rear sway bar that i just finished installing befor i went for the ride. That bar helped a ton though, def a worth while upgrade!

Now its just a upgrade to a new car.

sucks dude, i hate the freekin deer...saw a bunch of them last night, and I always wonder if there gonna jump out infront of me.

It looks fixable tho. Especially if you do it yourself

Sorry to hear man. I hit a deer in the spring of 2004. My damage was much less so I was lucky they didn't total it.

Not sure what you're going to do for a "next step" but let me know if you need to have quick cash and need to sell some parts.

Oh boy...that really sucks :-( Sorry to hear about it. Are you going to buy the car back from the ins. company if it is totaled? You do have a nice catalogue kit on there after all. The car certainly looks bad, but definatly not too bad to fix in my opinion. The hood, passenger side fender, radiator support and all the little goodies such as the radiator are obviously shot, but I bet you could get good junkyard parts to replace that stuff for a few hundred dollars.

Either way, that really is too bad!

Was is a buck or a doe? If it was a buck u should mount its head on your grill. wow that deer got pwned. Srry about the whip my friend, that reall sucks, btw did you scoop the deer meat off the radiator and eat it? I bet it would be cooked in notime!

That really sucks, deer are one of the only truly un-avoidable accidents. Best bet it to brake, hold and lightly correct if you can. Looks like you did the right thing, There are many cases where in trying to avoid a deer, people go right into a tree and get killed. Sadly, it looks like pretty good damage, but I think with a hood, fenders, lights+grill and a replacement rad support it could be on the road again.

Yeah...hopefully you are OK! A hit like that can shake a person up pretty good. Its a good thing it hit off to the side rather than the middle or it could have gone right through the windshield and into the car.

Man.. I thought you were kidding when you texted me about that last night. But damn, i didn't think the damage would be that bad. GD deer.

Well like we talked about.. its time to sell / fix and rebuild. You gotta make SOC.

that must have been one HUGE deer. hpw fast were you going? and where in NH were you? that damage looks crazy for a deer but it doesn't look totaled. Did your air bags go off?

Kalvin he lives kind of north of Concord, IIRC. I've been on my way to work along South Merrimack Rd in Hollis and nearly clipped deer before, too. They are seriously everywhere in NH.

Snow, that really sucks. I know how much (mentally and financially) you put into the car after the first accident, I can't imagine how shitty this must feel for you.

Ya i don't know how fast i was going, i was testing out my rear sway bar I think you get the picture. The deer got it good that bastard deer he was a female but not to cmall. I'm pretty sure the INS is going to total it the engine was on fire non the of the electrical works. About Fast cash well i don't need it fast cash i need the parts to sell good so i can get a new car. I'm fine just sucks that i put so much time and money into my baby. To see it go like this, it was good to me.

I just keep my eyes open on the sides of the roads and stuff looking for their eyes glowing.... i have had some really close calls..... once i actually bumped into a deer after slamming on my brakes in my red car 'natalie'..... i barely tapped the deer, but it ran off in a hurry lol....
