Well My 99 9-3 Hit 100K this weekend. Thanks cameraphone got to take a picture with it. So the time for service message came up today and I want to bring it in but not pay the big dealer price. What are the major things I should be looking to get inspected. I am going to make an appt later today at a local shop that deals with saabs. Im sure they know I'm just curious as to what should be replaced. The DI has never been replaced and I suspect its going, so thats at the top of the list.

100K is nothing, with any car, now-a-days.
I hit 160,000 with my 900 before totally wrecking it. Very inexpensive car to operate, much as my daughters Volvo (236K) was.

Maybe this old Saab 900 was the least expensive to operate of all...

The Diesel, with a new engine at 120K was still OK at 220K, but I sold it - too rusty.
None of our cars have less than 100K, yet all look nearly as new....

yeah - i broke 287,000 on Thursday - i'm nearing that 300,000 mark - then you can all chip in for me to buy a newer 9KT to rebuild after the SPG - or better yet - just a CSE/Aero to play with :p 8)
