Hello! First time SAAB owner here, but have been driving and owning cars for over 20 years.

My SAAB is a 1995 SAAB 900 SE Turbo, in gorgeous red color, bought her with 33,415 miles! Very low mileage for the age. She's in great shape and everything works as it should.

I live in Alaska and can't wait to have the opportunity to put on my Gislaved studded winter tires and go play in the snow with my SAAB!

Please check out my SAAB site and tell me what you think: http://sites.google.com/site/pierecksaab/home

Hi

Welcomes from NH. Nice looking NG900 and wow on the low miles. I woulda grabbed that. How much did you get that for (if you don't mind me asking) and are there any more like that around up there?
Welcome aboard! What a great buy on a beautiful NewGen. It appears you hit a homerun with your first SAAB. Hope you enjoy spending time here at the "Link."
Welcome, nice Alaskan sled!

Welcome to the link! I am trying to get to Alkaska for our honey moon - but I don't think it's going to happen (this year). Perhaps I can get some ideas from you when we do decide to make the trip. Enjoy the link - we are all a great group of Saab folk.

Your car is gorgeous looking for an older ng900 - looks great!

I paid all of $4000 for it. The original owner (I am the second) was an elderly man who owned this SAAB for driving in town, and a F250 for driving out of town. He passed away and the family got it on an estate. They had no need for an European two-door hatch, so they were just happy to seel it before being taxed for the inheritance.

There are another two similar vehicles for sale here, a 1999 9-3 five door 2.0 turbo, blue with tan leather, fully loaded with 77,000 miles for $4250 (too much IMHO), and a 1999 9-3 2.3 turbo 5 door in bronze metallic (gorgeous) for $3500.

I really liked his shop, his designs are pretty cool, and I am sure I'll buy a shirt or two there now that I'm a SAAB owner too.

If you can brave the cold I say come in the winter, maybe late Novemebr or December when it's not too cold. Alaska is another world in the winter, and there is plenty to do. Fall time (late august to early september) is also gorgeous as all the colors change but fall here is fast and furious, so if you don't time it right you miss the show. Summer is also excellent as we have 24 hours of daylight from late May to early July and you never run out of things to do! You know you're in Alaska when you're mowing your lawn at 11 pm with sunglasses on!

Thank you, I plan on keeping her that way.

Yeah, just try using something that I posted here before the change of ownership. I have a good media lawyer and I've used him before. After the change of ownership I can understand. I can't even edit my old posts to remove my own material, so the new rules have holes in them.

I'll still be around, but I'll keep my pictures to myself.
i wouldn't worry too much about it.... unless it actually starts happening.
Not too worried either, it's just the grab-all nature of the new terms of service here. Still a great forum with lots of info and cool people.

But I have had people use my photos without permission (not on this site) and need the help of a lawyer.
Interesting photo, how did you get the car to glow like that ? what kind of camera are you using ?
Stick it to the man... Umm do you think they are going to compile your greatest forum posts and sell them to the world?
