Sounds like you spun a bearing. Does the oil light work in the car? Key on, engine off it should light up on the dash.
Hard crank no start
My wife has a 99 9-3 SE. This morning started immediately. After a brief stop, would not start. Had a hard crank but no start. Had towed to local garage because saab dealer a distance away. This evening I went to garage and started right up. Now has a loud ticking noise coming from engine area.
Any advice can give me to tell mechanics since not saab garage. Could it be a crank shaft sensor. Ticking noise has me bugged.
