So I took this girl I'm really into to see the movie. Movie absolutely rocked. I was cracking up throughout. Casting was great, character development was great, story was great (if predictable), even puff daddy managed to play out his minor role well enough.

But this girl I'm dating, she was apalled by the raunchy humor - even though it wasn't too overthetop. She has no reaction to the clearly hilarious parts. She thought the movie sucked.

She wanted to see the sex and the city movie, and I comppletely refused. I told her to choose any movie other than that suckfest. I don't even know if her dislike of the movie is my insistence on not seeing that sex and the city movie, or she's from mars and can't get into a judd apatow film.

Either way. This movie has ended my possible happiness with an otherwise great girl.

/end rant.

Consider the source... I don't think it's so much the movie as the fact that she doesn't get off on raunchy humor. If Bruce can't be himself around this girl, then why bother being Bruce at all?

Fuck Borat

i still wanna hit it...
After you hit that. Skip to the scene in BrĂĽno where the pygmy is spinning and have her walk in. She should be thoroughly disturbed to end it then and there or will break and suddenly embrace all raunchy humor.

dude, if you really like her sack up and see sex and the city....

while it is 2 hours of your life you ont get back they payoff for watching it with her is worth it. All girls know we guys have no desire to see it but will want to see it with us just to see if we are worth being with. I mean think about it if you won't see a movie with her that she wants to see what about other things in life? granted this is of the theory that dating is used to find a girl to spend your life with.

anyway... good move and bad move.. good if you really dont plan to be with said girl for too long, bad if you really truly liked her...

oh and the girl i'm dating wants to see get him to the greek....

yeah - I play the game I pick one - you pick the next. it's win win and we're all happy. Except when i pick a movie she does't like or she doesn't think is funny - but of well, that is why I will sit through what you pick next. This doesn't happen often at theaters anymore - just redbox rentals since theaters started charging $9+ per person and more if the movie is crappy 3D.

i saw the move when it came out and loved it, it wasnt too raunchy, compared to some movies of late, and the parts that were, could be called tastefully done.

the furry wall was pretty sick.

and you have ten mantown points for telling the women whats what and not seeing sex and the city.
movies like sex in the city will fade out in ten years, be forgotten, and no longer converted into whatever movie format comes next.

movies like the hangover, Get him to the greek, and Shrek will live on with classics like Ferris buelers day off, and be watched by further generations
