Description: 1995 Saab 9000 Aero for sale in LeMans Blue. 5-speed manual. Apparently one of only 127 5-spd Aeros made in this color for the US market. It gets a lot of compliments and double takes. Cosmetically, it has some dings and rust spots - all small except the rear passenger-side wheel arch (common on the 9000 Aero), but passes inspection with no problems and still looks great overall. The front bumper valence is uncracked (which other Aero owners tell me is a minor miracle).

Mechanically, the steering, braking, and shifting all feel as tight as new, and the turbo still throws you back in your seat. Exhaust, front brakes, and passenger CV are all new last year. Idle gets a little funky sometimes, but it has never left us stranded. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it to California right now. TCS is still installed, but has always worked great - including the kill-switch (I can help source the parts to delete it if interested).

Gray aero interior is in great shape - no loose stitches, but some wear on the driver's shoulder. Gorgeous walnut dash. Not a single crack in the dash top. Harmon Kardon stereo sounds awesome. Cruise control and seat heaters work great. Headlight relays are touchy, but it comes with spares. The only other annoying cosmetic aspect is that the PO blacked out the grille and all the emblems and carved out the headlight switch hole to install a boost gauge, so now the headlight switch floats in there. I can include the boost gauge with the sale. Also comes with a detailed spreadsheet of work done to it over the past 6 years.

Includes the roof rack, a set of Saab floor mats, and some spare parts. Don't let the Vermont tags scare you - she's only been in VT for a year and has a long life ahead of her. Reason for selling is that we have 4 Saabs and only room for 3 in the driveway.

It shocks me that you're having this much trouble getting rid of the car.
All the cool Saabs I want are always in VT or NH, it seems, which is unfortunately too far.
GLWS!

Actually, when I was originally looking for this car just a year and a half ago, good ones were disappearing after only a short time online. I couldn't get to them fast enough. Lucked out with this one because it was close and I had cash. I don't think it will have any trouble selling as soon as someone sees it in person.

Going to have to agree with you RadioFlyer, I just sold my Aero through eBay and the market for them seems to be hot right now. I saw 2 others disappear after mine sold, the only thing I hate about eBay is all the fee's you get charged.

This has been 100% the opposite my experience in trying to sell my 98 CSE. I have listed the car on every Saab website known to man, had it featured on Daily Turismo, and also listed on ebay. I have no gotten a single email from my local craigslist with the car listed at 2 grand....

I wonder if part of the issue is that most people don't know that a 98 CSE is so much like an aero. I've had a few bites on my '95 aero, but mostly kids that want a fast first car but don't want to spend anything. But then I know a lot of people that buy much worse cars just because they were under $3000. I've always figured that any driving, inspectable car for under $3000 is a deal.
