Dear lord.... This game needs to come out RIGHT NOW!

For those of you who haven't played Forza, this takes unbelievable amounts of skill... And that road is going to be a blast to drive on (look at 1:27 to 1:31 for a great aerial view!)...

I'm getting close to beating all the races in Forza 2.

Not really a drifter at heart, but what sort of settings would one need to setup a Forza 2 car for in-game drifting. General asshattery.

okay so just did few races in the demo. I used a ferarriarraiaaa (sp) cali , audi R8, and a porche race car and all I can say is :-o:shock::shock::-o:shock::-o:shock::-o:shock:. The in car camera is simply amazing, graphics will give you a hard on and the AI in the game is a million times better. If the AI thinks there will be a crash they will back off as opposed to #2 where it was like you wherent there

Yeah... use the D-pad and go left over and you'll get points for drifts. I am 105 in the world for FWD .

The graphics in the game are unreal... and the sound of each car. The R8 sounds so real you can't tell the difference. The Porsche has straight cut gears that whine. So sick. And the physics are spot on. Can't wait to get behind the wheel of the TurboX.

And cockpit view FTMFW... something they should have had a long time ago. It really shows its true colors if you have a 3 screen setup (shows the whole cockpit and side windows).

Plus, you can roll the cars now.

i didnt use the turbo x.

because i know people in the industry.

long story short, my good friend designs for PUMA, and through people at work he knows people at Turn10 and his good other good friend does graphic design nd works on toy packages, also did the cover art for one of the halos, so we had advance copies of that too.

The only gripe I had about Forza 2 was the fact that when you hit sand at any speed you immediately lost all momentum.

Can't wait for the game myself. I downloaded the demo which took up 1.2 gigs of my shitty 20gig HD. Drag was the only thing the last one was missing.

Also: Why was the Viggen called a 9-3 Aero and had a 6 speed ??

Yeah, I gotta agree. The physics don't look stellar. Pretty arcade quality.

I have a hard time getting into console-based driving sims (FM series, GT series). They almost always disappoint since the wheel choices all pretty much suck.

Personally, I think Codemasters makes the best "non-pro" quality arcade/sim cross. Has anyone played GRID yet? I have the previous gen game (ToCA3), but I doubt my compy has the balls to do GRID justice. I need a new wheel too. It looks a little more arcade-y than Previous Gen ones, but the visuals (engine is from Dirt2) look pretty amazing.

The other day I walked into a friends house and he was playing a racing game. He says "you will never guess what game this is." It had the driving lines on the road and everything. I thought it was a grid based game, but it was the new NFS. Jaw -> floor.

So there is a NFS game that looks exactly like forza 3 and it took less time to make and it is already out. I am sure it has less cars/tracks, but still.

If you want a racing sim, Live for Speed takes the cake. Next are the GT series games.

How can you combine internettzing and playing games on a daily basis?

My PS3 is used only for Netflix. I have GRID but last time I played it was in June or something like that.

I wish a day had 30 hours. I could go to school, work, do homework, browse saablink and play games. lol.
