Just a little project a buddy of mine and I did last year.

Im not a big skull person, but I thought it looked pretty cool. Its way better than a saggy tan headliner too. Its really soft which is awesome.

Maybe we can have a headliner day... I want to black suede my Viggen's headliner at some point. I have been putting it off for way too long. I think I'm pushing 3 years now.
It wasn't all that bad, I took a few days but that's because I could.

I have a feeling it will be worse in a 3 door. I sure hope not though. :(

Why?
The car I did the suede in before was the 3-door. :)

Oh really? Care to help me out? Free beer and pizza will be waiting.

I just figured it'd be more of a pain since everything else in a 3 door is harder. Very limited mobility back there and it's like a sweat box.
Bump!

Looks good!

How do you get the sunroof shield out of there?

Thanks!

Once the headliner is out you have to unbolt the whole sunroof assembly and take it out the car to get to it. I don't remember exactly how the shield is held in, but it wasn't hard to take off from there.
Looks good actually. I'd take that over boring tan.
Too much for me, but plus one for doing it first. Any thoughts of changing the visors and center bit to match (paint?)?
is there a walkthrough somewhere on headliner removal?
I will eventually get around to painting the tan pieces black.

I'm not sure if there is a walkthrough.
I actually liked the black headliner with tan pieces somewhat...
That looks like a clown puked on your headliner.

I'm glad you like it though!

I lean a bit more toward "Jerry Garcia meets pirate and has a stroke."

I lol'd at these. It certainly is a bit busy, but the price was right (50% off sale at Jo-Ann) , and its really soft haha. Great for when I smoke a Jeffrey and don't have a furry wall to stroke*.

It was also very friendly during the install. Thick enough that I didn't need any padding, but wasn't too thick that it wouldn't mold into the curves or to put on the slider.
So how do you get the sunroof panel to drop out?

On my 3-door it was aftermarket and a piece of cake.
