so im considering in getting this wagon to part it out to you guys
it has an engine knock. so bottom end is toast
but here are pics to show its physical condition







let me know what interest you have and in what parts

Lower Bumper Trim - Left & Right (If not damaged) $25
Trunk Mat - If Not torn or badly stained $25
Seat Heater Switches if bulbs work - $10 Pair
ACC Panel - if pixels all work - $35 if pixels are going, but readable - $10
Dash Cup Holder if not broken - $25
Steering wheel controls with harness from clock spring to controls - $25
Saab Wheel Center Caps - $5 each if in good shape

I can pick up @ carlisle to save shipping OR you can put all in one box and get a quote to PA 19446

ok guys so the customer that owns the car doesnt want to fix it... i offered him $600
and he wants over $1500, imo i think its a lil steep
so no go on this car unless he changes his mind

nothing else was wrong with the car so if i get this i will bring this thread back to life

Just contact them once a month with the $600 offer for 4 months - then start offering less ;)
lol well we're charging them storage fee cuz they have to come get it, so we might end up owning it soon

What was your offer to him?

It looks like a nice car, I would love a daily driver like that. Unbelievable that these engines fail at 100K...

If 600 was your highest and best, he's probably right to try to get more. That would be a great car to drive. Add it to the long list of otherwise good 9-5s that destroy engines...

If whomever buys it drops a "random running used" engine into it and cleans it up nice they could sell it for nearly $4000 if they are shady enough. Mind you they would never mention the fact that the car had any engine problems....

Still looks like a solid $500-$800 car worth fixing.
