I have the saab savior exhaust on my car which has the magnaflow muffler which is basically straight through and it sounds great in my opinion

^^ as much fun as it would be to scare the shit out of someone when passing them on the high way, i would also like to be able to talk to people in the car, perferably with out screaming.

Funny thing about glasspacks, at least from mine and what I've heard from others, is that they have a break-in period. They get louder and "cracklier" over time. I love mine without a cat. Once I did a big third gear downshift coming into a turn by my house to like 4500rpm, came down to like 2k or so, and this woman at a bus stop on the corner said, "That's hot." as I drove by.

I have used glasspacks on my C900's & I will never go that route again. I have had 3 in complete exh with glasspack & cat & also 3in DP to race cat to glasspack then 2.5 in from glasspack back. I then yanked the glasspack & put a good muffler in there & for me I prefer the muffler.

Every glasspack I had gave me a very annoying resonance around cruising speed on the highway & just made the exh kinda annoing to me. With a good muffler the exh note is better & it's toned down enough to not be annoying when driving.

I also couldn't get glasspacks to not rattle after a few years of use.... they are cheap but a PITA to replace every few years

i dont think 3 inch will be to big everone that i know that had put 3 inch exhaust on there c900 has seen noticable impovements, i am building a full
3 1/2" exhaust trubo back with no cat this is the muffler i am using its pretty cheap and works well and sound bad ass i used one on my buddys ng900 when i build his 3" exhaust and it sounds mean as hell but not like a glass pack that has the high resonance. good luck on the exhaust build
