Held up by blocks of wood, so it's not exactly in place but you get the idea :p

:) So excited to see the final product.
How much of that was changed to "wide body" looks? Loooks very agressive! Post some more updates as you have them - looks interesting. Clean looking work so far.
Just an airflow kit man :) it was broken and stapled together by a previous owner, so i plastic welded and fiberglassed it back together, its far from perfect but drastically better than when i purchased it.
Looking good!

EDIT: I see those arches are the different style. Interesting.
yeah i was curious...please explain everywhere i look for pics of an airflow, the arches don't have the "cut" end

I have seen at least three different types of the "fat" arches.

There's the fluted type on my car, the non-fluted like on Jeff Proposki's car, and then the style you have. Also I believe there was a pre-facelift type which was made to use without the SPG kit...

that is interesting...any idea why so many different ones?
I'm still looking stuff up but I believe the arches were different between the Carlsson (Euro market) and Airflow (US market).

Not sure about yours though, still looking.

Found a pic of yours - Todd Campisano's black SPG had them.

RIP, that was a beautiful car.

I have the same arches as you have, Justin. The other thing to remember, most of the time, those little pieces on the ends break off, so I'm not sure if there were really 3 different types or 2. I prefer the "european" style that IronJoe has due to the fluted ends though. I think all look better than stock.

Definitely three types - look at a Carlsson vs My car vs Jeff P's car.

I think Justin has the Carlsson arches. Take a look at this stock carlsson being parted out:

Shot of the arches:

Same as Justin's.

EDIT:
Scratch that, maybe you don't have Carlsson arches Justin. Here's a pic from the Carlsson brochure, you can see here it's clear they are the same type of arches as Jeff P's car.

Good to know... I was never sure if there were 3 types or of the ends just broke off (which they do frequently). Thanks! :) In any event, I have the same ones as Justin.
If you look at this picture, you can see the super rare front SPG PANEL!!!! AH I want that damn panel.

I hate that this panel exists :D

What's interesting is, that's not present in any of the Carlsson literature. So maybe the flared front-panel plus the pointy-cutout arches were put together in a European no-Carlsson airflow kit (accessory kit?).

Looks like Todd's black SPG had that panel as well.

It's certainly a rare piece to come by... especially here in the states. I've only seen 2 cars with them in person. One at SCD, and one that Kidder got off of a parts car he bought.

And yes, Todd's car definitely had it.
I had the identical car as the white one pictured years ago. Some a..hole stole the whole front bumper off it one night at the shop. Found it days later modified (poorly) to fit on an 84, and rattle canned black. Stuck out like a sore thumb and I noticed it passing me going down the road. Think I extorted $700 from the kid to not call the P.D, but I did let him keep the bumper
whats funny is i need to go look up at the spg panels i have in my attic that came with the airflow kit. I had assumed that they were the same as the ones on my car but now i need to go up there to bee 100% positive lol
