It's that time again!

http://www.euroautofestival.com

This year BMW is highlighting Cars of Sweden :D in their annual show located in Spartanburg, SC at the BMW Zentrum.

--------------------------------------

Located seconds off of I-85 in western SC, the BMW Euro Auto Festival spotlights hundreds of cars from across Europe (and some US models) outdoors on the grounds of the BMW plant.

The Euro Auto Festival is a 3-day automotive event that brings together European Car enthusiasts to display, celebrate and share special stories about the great car marques of Europe. Now in its 13th year, the Festival features a popular car show, an autocross, special exhibits, specialty merchants and a road rally for all participants.

The Euro Auto Festival was established to promote appreciation for vintage, classic and antique European vehicles. Each year sees entries from throughout the United States, Canada and England, with a full range of European cars on display, from classic to modern and everything in between.

The 2008 Euro Auto Festival will be held October 17-19 at the BMW Zentrum located next to the BMW Manufacturing Co. on I-85, between Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Please take note that the Car Show Day is Saturday, October 18.

Once again, this year's proceeds will be donated to the Disaster Relief Fund of the American Red Cross.

We should try and get a real good showing from us Saab enthusiasts

Also there will be some performance driving while there for $25 per area or $100 for all 5. Only thing is that it is not in your own car but the cars they give you seem like they will work just fine

# Area 1 – Wet / Dry auto-X:
Driving 335s or 650 (TBD) through a coned
autocross course that combines normal dry
asphalt with a wet polished concrete surface.

# Area 4 – Performance Drive:
Drive an M5, around a large road course.

# Area 3B – Sports Handling w/ Timed Runs:
Drive the all new 335 around a road course
and try to post your best lap time.

# Area 5 – Off Road course:
Driving the X5 or X3, you will challenge the
capabilities of BMW’s X Drive all wheel system.

# Area 6 – Match / Rat Race:
Driving the M3 6spd or 335 Steptronic, you
will race your opponent around a course to
see who gets back to the finish line first.
