i dont think he even noticed that i was trying to pull on him. note* trying.

he passed me between lights (next one was about a mile up), so i dropped to third and stomped on the throttle. i dont know if he was WOT or not, but he was pulling on me.

no, i did not do much more than just look at his car when the next light turned green. i like my transmission more than that.

it was... shiny, silver, and with dealer plates.

5+ liters.

Supercharged.

Yes.
that is a combination that you really cannot go wrong with.

There are two very funny comments in this thread. I approve.
hehe :D

he did not pull on me quite as hard as i might have expected. i honestly did not even begin to look at what the car was until i realized that i was not catching up and was not going to be catching up.

i would take him in the snow, no doubt

Those E55's are no joke. It is hands down the fastest car I have ever been in and most likely ever will be. The way it put down the power everywhere was incredible and the supercharger whine on top of the V8 was sex.

Definitely no joke. The odd thing is the quite freight train sort of pull they have. Speed seems effortless because of this furthering the sensation. However, I have ridden in QUITE a few things that would trounce one the AMG's but few would do it w/ as little tah-do factor.

i actually raced one of these in th 9-3 the other day and forgot to post about it. it wasnt as bad a raping as i thought it would be. It was the older generation and from a dig by 120 he probably had a car and a half to 2. i barely know any thing about them. Granted he had an extra person in the car and i didnt but he seemed to be on it pretty good.

sounded sick though. gave him a big thumbs up and he smiled but i had an exit to take so we didnt play any more.

ok then... offroad. ill take him down, offroad!

i once got lost in the woods with my best friend while we were exploring the backwoods area around Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead. i was enjoying the scenery and the beautiful day so much so that i did not realize until it was too late that i had travelled in excess of 30 miles on dirt, used almost 1/3 of a tank and had a bit under 1/4 tank left. the only way out was forward, which turned out to be what is considered one of the toughest, gnarliest 4x4 truck, high clearance vehicles only trails in southern california. a guy that i saw out there, he was on a quad and told me i was absolutely crazy, he told me that he almost got stuck.

my exhaust was removed in a very violent manner. i still have dents in my floorpan from that same hit at that one stream crossing. to this day, i dont think that anyone that i have mentioned it to, that knows that road, believes that we made it.

i would take him there, oh yes, i would take him there. perhaps that is where my c900 would beat out the 5 litres of supercharged sex. or, more likely, he would have turned around far before i did and not risk the underside of his 70k+ car
