Wondering if anyone has a source for these fastener pieces that go in the door so the door card tab screws can be held in? I've attached a couple photos. I don't know what to call them. Aside from a junkyard perhaps McMaster Carr?

Just make your own from regular steel of appropriate thickness to hold shape. They don't even have to look like that. just cut a fat cross-like figure, punch a hole in the middle, leave two sides as is, and bent the other two 90 degrees inwards to fit into the door hole, also bent them wavy similar to the original part so that they grab onto the door hole when the screw goes in. Better then OEM ;)

Thanks much. I actually ended up just using the center mount one in place of the broken one for now. I had just hoped that I could find a similar type for future SAAB projects in case I needed the parts. I've found something close on McMaster Carr...they call it a square style clip-on nut. The dimensions are incorrect for this application, but it's the right idea. I'll post a P/N if I come across something useful.
