Anyone have an idea of how long a Tech 2 needs to establish communication with the Dice module on a replacement? Is it a "walk away and come back later" scenario, or should it happen in 5 min or less. Had a message on the Tech 2 that it could not establish communication with the Dice module, so tried a replacement last night. May not have left it hooked up long enough. Any help appreciated.

You tried a replacement DICE or a replacement Tech II?
I woud dexpect the DICE but why did you replace it? Only because the TechII could not communicate with it? This problem is usually caused by a lose pin wire in the OBDII connector unless you have had other issues
