Does anyone know how to detune the ECU without replacing it? Is there anything I can unplug or adjust to lower boost? Fast answers would be nice. Please,no guessing. LOL.

Why do you need to do this so quick?

If its a t7 I believe you can go to the dealer and get a "re flash."

If its a t5 you could always use t5 suite to load a base map on it for a few dollars. The investment of which could easily be resold to somebody else when you're done.

Trying to trade the car in but the Dealership won't take the car with the tune because it is not a local tuner. I live in Germany and tuning is SBNS that has to be safety tested on every anal aspect........ and taxed. My title has every little detail about my car, i.e., every aftermarket part, minus the correct HP rating due to the tune not being available here in Germany. I just lied about it not being tuned. Most cars around here are all eye candy and no GO because of gas prices and insurance costs more for a tuned car. All tuned cars have to be put on a dyno during inspection to test wheel output and emissions.

i have 2 ecu's a stock one and a stage 4 one. stage 4 for me, stock for others.
my cousin's audi with a apr tune has 4 modes. 89, 94, 110, and limp. he can put it in limp mode and i can not rev over 4k and will not go over 70mph. also it cuts power in half, its slower than stock.

i would just go to a junk yard and grab a ecu

Here is a thought. Tell me what you think. I had the BSR stage 2 PPC program in the ECU when Nick tuned it to a Nordic Stage 4. The BSR PPC currently still has my factory settings in it. If I plug the the PPC back into my car, it will ask me if I want to go back to original settings. If I hit the (YES) button what would happen?

If you use the go back to stock feature with the PPC it'll go back to a stock tune but then you'll lose your nordic 4. Sounds like investing in a spare board with stock maps would be a good idea.

Do you think that a stage 4 is not noticably faster than a stock 205bhp car should be. Come on, anyone that has clue knows as soon as they hit the throttle that it aint stock. LOL. Then comes the suspention, 3" exhaust and, brake kit upgrade questions. If it's stock why is all this other stuff needed. LOL.:D not to mention the eye candy 30 psi boost guage.

Saab dealership's know whats stock and whats not. (2002= T7) They also put the new engine in the car. Turns out that just connecting the wastgate hose directly to the compressor dropped the boost to around a safe, unsuspecting 12 psi. I left the BPC wire plugged in so I won't get a CEL. Did some adaptation runs and everything feels stock again. The BSR PPC attempt to reset to original was a flop. It re read the files and didn't even give me an option to set it to original. the car drives civalized enough now that my wife will drive it again. LOL
