I ran out of chrome... so i have only two pair right now... working on maybe getting some more ?
  • black polycarbonate, tough and very light
  • mirror finish chrome and black viggen delta
  • hard thick clear coating that is UV stable. (read: does not turn yellow or cloudy after 2 months like those cheap ebay badges)
  • assembled by hand in the Griffin Gear secret lab

only a limited edition/small run will be made if i can even get more supplies
these would look sensational on a black or silver viggen. probably look nice on red or yellow too now that I think about it  they look wet but that's just because they are super shiny and chrome and clear coating are bouncing reflections off each other at this angle

will confirm availability once they are fully cured, not just surface cured.
hopefully I can bring them to carlisle.
they will be cheaper for a pair, than for one oem delta at retail price.

i think these are too big/
also, one pair may be spoken for already.
I have a fifth one that does not have a mate, didn't clear coat that one yet... hopefully I can get more of what I need and I should be able to make a couple more pair. planning to keep it limited being handmade it takes some time and that way people can have something more unique

do you think my wife will care i ruined the toaster oven making these?

just kidding
If she does, the marriage is over. You need to have priorities. :D

If you get more material for these, I would be down for a set down the line. I need the busted up set I've currently got. Don't have the cashflow to worry about it now, though.

I am trying to source more supplies.

I got 20 PM's.... so I think it would make a few people happy to make a couple more pair if i can

I thought only a few would like these since they aren't in full color and mostly I had black cars in mind.

I think the yellow sticks out too much (at least on a red Vig). I've been thinking about the black Viggen hood/boot emblems that pop up on eBay ocasionally. These would finish those off nicely.

Wow, I'd take a pair of those for sure, but alas, I have no money. Demand is surely high for these excellent looking badges.

Another +1 for Griffin Gear.

Dan have you ever thought to look into have them mass produced in a small batch by another company? You do so many unique parts that usually end up with high demand that exceeds supply. Or would this run you into royalty issues with Saab?

Nahum: if I made a ton of them they wouldn't be so unique anymore and I assume less desirable. ;)
I am just trying to have a fun hobby and do some innovative or unique things for modified saabs for the time being....

thanks for all the good feedback everyone.

I am gonna try and see about a few more sets, it looks like they'd all get nice homes if I were able to make some.

i almost want to put them on my car... it's kinda like "autoviggen" or "baby viggen "

but that woud be like putting M5 badges on a 525i with body kit  they'd look so nice though
