Call me old and slow but I honestly don't get it. Really, a lot of you younger guys are much more savvy than I am. Also, I don't have issues with Craigs at all having sold my Vette in like two days for a fair price and bought some great stuff.

You are looking for a car and bingo ...

Saab Turbo X, $14,900.

Saab 2008 Convertible, $13,500 or reasonable offer ..

I am a firm believer that there is always a reason but why list a car with "low miles" and perhaps a bit of a story but one that does not involve overseas shipment so if there is a scam it's not apparent, Job relocation, wife does not like stick, there are a few.

Now, the photos that accompany the ads are accurate. One was for my town and the type of homes and topography are so accurate? Same car is now at the beach with a pic of a sandy driveway a week later so it seems the guy is on vacation.

Now, I figured that there would be some damage that did not show or it was a "S" or "F" title for flood or salvage.

But they never answer your response to the ad. I even had a few of my friends try to get a rise out of them. Three weeks later, the car is in Delaware and a few weeks later it's in PA?

Clicked on the Saab things last night and a cheap but newer Audi came up?

What am I missing? :-?

Scammers. Nothing to it. They have nothing else to do with their lives.

Believe it or not, there are people out there who bite, and are quite ignorant to these kinda games. You hear about them on the news every so often...

To get your info I'd imagine. You know, for those junk emails for "pills" and whatnot.

They are collecting emails for email lists to sell to the companies that sell canadian pills and viagra. You won't get anything right away, figure about how long it takes them to make a list of emails that has a million email addresses, then they sell to junk mail people for whatever amount of money.

yup scammers and spammers!

i've recently been receiving emails on for sale ads that i placed....asking if my ad is legit. They are looking for a reply so they can bombard you with spam or links to spam.

When you see those scammers just flag them.

Im also getting tired of these business's posting up all there crap up there. It takes away from the "garage sale" type of experience craigslist use to be!
