I was thinking of replacing my cooling fan resistor since I've only ever had a high-speed fan however when I looked at the fan today I don't see any resistor. I only have one plug with a black and a green wire which goes directly to the motor, nothing else. Did some cars have a different setup?
I'm kind of glad I don't seem to have a resistor since I cannot figure any possible way to get that fan shroud out without removing the PS hose and possibly the upper coolant hose. Is there some magic trick I'm missing?
Ya I was using that page as reference but I've only got the one black connector with two wires. No other wires/connectors/resistor anywhere on the back that I can see, strange.
