My school's team sucks this year. They played pretty decently yesterday, but they still lost by 1 to BYU after a blown call.

My alma mater, Augustana College of South Dakota, played Emporia State (KS) on the road, and lost 27-14.

But they beat St. Cloud St. last week, so they're 1-1.

 

My adopted alma mater (Penn State) ran over Oregon State on Saturday. This weeks victim will be Syracuse. Unfortunately I can't get to a game until October when they meet Michigan.
There's nothing like being in a stadium with 110 thousand of your closest friends.

cowboys looked really good today, if you get over the penalties. i dont think they'll ever get over the penalties, personally. seems to be a cowboy trademark in the past couple years...

 

They looked overall Super Bowl caliber, according to Aikman. But as if penalties alone aren't bad enough... they always seem to be 15-yarders. I remember back to '99 when I left Dallas for St. Louis that I was still complaining about the huge amount of penalties they would get.

Colorado took down juggernaut Eastern Washington this weekend. We're now a deceiving 2-0. Will probably go 0 for out next 5.

Next week the recently upset West Virginia comes to Boulder to try to save face. I think we're gonna get blowed-up.

I loved every second that ECU was nailing WVU. I went to a ECU game last year and it was awesome. That school can party.

haha, thats what we are known for!! that game was all well and good until the fu**tard gville police messed it up

 

Went to the Wake vs. Ole Miss game. It was rather suspenseful, a very exciting game (though, truth be told, we probably should have had an easier time with it). There were two funny occurrences:
1. It was horrifically hot and barely a cloud in the sky (all week they were talking about how it would rain because of Hanna). At what point a small cloud blocked the sun and everybody clapped.

2. When towards the end of the 4th quarter the refs called a rather questionable pass interference (maybe we just couldn't see it, but I sure didn't see anybody close enough to that ball to catch it) the students started chanting, "bullshit, bullshit." Not a regional Baptist college anymore...

 

Its rather interesting being a Wolverine Fan this season. Who knows who UM can beat. ND looks beatable... but... thats about it for the next 4 games.

Hells yeah, PSU is killin so far this year, i'm anxious to see how the rest of the big 10 games turn out, i'm pretty confident in a win tonight.

 

I actually watched this game (most of it anyway). I even let out a small cheer.
