TIA

I just use my regular State Farm for things like Classic and Antique insurance. It's cheap and easy. There are other Standalone companies which will perform an appraisal of the car which may or may not benifit you. Saab's aren't typically "worth" a lot... Mine 95' 9000 is insured as a classic for book value until collector values are released. My 1973 Saab is insured for $5,000 - which is more then fair. Cost me $70 per year to insure it. The 9000 is $98 a year - full coverage on both.
I have a Hagerty policy on my 96. It was a lot cheaper than State Farm. I haven't had to use it, thankfully.

Cheaper then $70 a year? What is your coverage and payment?
I have Hagerty on my c900. $400 a year, full coverage, no deductible, no mileage limit. The car has a declared value of $8000 on it.
Yeah i got a quote at hagerty i put value on the airflow @ 15000. I know a little greedy right but the amount of money in the car its only fair.

I also use Hagerty. Just sent in pics & info, copy of magazine article, no hassles. Agreed upon value of $25,000.

Wow, that's not bad.

You're likely getting a multicar discount through State Farm, which helps knock down the cost. The '94 ComEd is through Haggerty - $125/year and agreed upon value of $6k. Little Red is also on Haggerty - $1m agreed upon value and they're paying me for the privilege of having her policy.*

I have MANY discounts and the agency employee I deal with is a friends ex girlfriend - so I have any discount they can legally apply in place. I have my homeowners insurance with them too :) But when I turn 25 next month all my regular car insurance rates will drop too - not that they are bad, but less is better.

Multi-Car, Multi-Driver, and Multi Policy discounts among the rest I have....

When I bought the Vintage is was $90 per year.... it has dropped a little since.

Once my cars are "restored" I plan to look into this Hagerty style insurance so I can cash out on all my fruits of labor... err lightning :) lol (kidding)
Lucky on the homeowners. Tried that and they said come back when you're finished. (Speaking of which, hit me up on IM later tonight if you get the chance.)

Hagerty's been decent and simple and about the right price for cars you drive but don't drive every day.
I have heard good things about hagerty. Just looking for a cheaper solution that will be better while i restore the Airflow.
YOu can generally get a reduced policy ( liek 100 bucks a year) if you tell your insureance the car is "removed from service" It will allow you to take teh car to a shop tgesty drive and whatnot b utg still have full coverage but no major miles driven
