This only happens on a cold start, not once it's been driven around and then started up again. The engine will pulsate (idle up and down quickly) then even out in idle at around 1200-1300rpm til it warms up a bit.

Originally our local dealer told us that it needed a new serpentine belt (back when it had 45k miles on it) and at that point I replaced the belt and it went away. The current belt has 7k miles on it. It had come back from time to time, and replacing the belt had helped in the past but doesn't anymore.

The Car: 2004 Saab 9-3 ARC, 187k Miles, 15k on Spark Plugs, 15k on Fuel Pump, No CEL Light On.

Any ideas are much appreciated, it seems to be getting worse as time goes on.
