God damn it.

I get the wheel. Great. Apparently PRISTINE CONDITION does not include the chewed up (looks like a mouse had a snack) leather on the 7 o'clock spoke. Now that I have it in my hands, its very obvious. I thought, must have gotten dinged in shipping, nope visible in the photograph above, but doesn't jump out at you in the least with the lighting and the texture. Very misleading. Very Upset. Contacting Kevin and Paypal today when I find a moment. GRRR

FOR SHAME KEVIN:

His response to Payapl:
Seller: There was nothing wrong with that steering wheel. It was in pristine condition when I shipped it. He paid for s steering wheel and I included the mounting hub/ boss for nothing. I have pics of the steering wheel and there was no damage what so ever. NONE!

Well I have your pic too and sadly the damage is very clear, very noticeable and very much effects the value. Also, the title of ad is steering wheel and hub. I paid for both, but that's not relevant. I regret so very much offering to settle this for 75$. (edit: 75 off of 290$, VERY REASONABLE OF ME the quote to repair was 90$ with no guarantee and the warning it would wear off and not be pristine)

Also found it suspicious that you payed to have it insured without charging me or me requesting it.

Here is your photo as above. Its visible, but again a flattering photo.

And here is the closeup of the damage, which is also a flattering photo, it's much more noticeable in person and the feel is terrible, which is what a wheel is about!

Yup, definitely NOT a "pristine" wheel... and now that you point it out, clearly visible in both pictures.

However, I would gladly pay $75 for that wheel. The black with the red stitching would look sooooo dope in my 85 with the burgundy interior. The brown/tan momo wheel I have that's the same style as that is in what I would call average/poor condition, and the center is splitting apart from being pulled off and put back on too many times :(

Weak sauce.

Do it right Kevin and settle the deal. It plain as day once you look in your picture, and its far from pristine. Pristine means "ZERO DEFECTS" in my opinion.

Nick is as honest as they come. Don't resort to mud-slinging. Make right on the deal.

He drives/drove a Porsche 944... and made that his email address. What should I have expected, right? LoL.

Let me just say how much I've enjoyed dealing with this today on top of other stuff!!!

Could one of you cats post this link and a note about not as described on the SAABcentral thread here ?

Kevin has made me one mad professional SAAB enthusiast today.

Would you love it 290$ worth?

Would you love it with the damage staring you right in the face every time you drove it?

Would you love it 380$ worth, repaired, trying not to wear off the fragile repair?

Would you love to buy something not as advertised?

Would you love to be called a liar?

Don't get me wrong. I'll enjoy it, but never like I thought I would. This sucks!
