I am starting this thread simply because I am curios if anyone around got a Cargo Wing for the 9-3 Sport Convertible 2003->

In the first presentations of the new 9-3 Conv., the Cargo Wing was introduced as a SAAB innovation...but I am yet to see it in person!

So, any1 got it? Any1 knows where can I find one to buy (even used)?

Wow, I could really use something like that on my CV. I had no idea there was such a thing. Is it actually called a Cargo Wing?

As long as it works with the top up. Otherwise, other than wakeboarding/kneeboarding/water skiing, I can't see much use for it. Looks like it would only also hold Snowboards/Skis. And I feel that water sports are not as widely done as snow activities.

really nice to see the cv have an option to do this now. Might look a little goofy with a bike right on the back there haha.

That's world's better than the ski rack for the c900 convertibles, that's for sure. That set-up requires drilling, I believe. This wing thing looks like it's even removable. Huh. What will they think of next?

damn

newsflash!
I spoke on the phone directly at Trollhättan and the guy at accessories dept. told me there was ONLY ONE such product, as concept for R&D, that they used it for ads and since it was not road approved (TUV, etc.), they never produced it

I am tinkering at something right now, for my kite board, so I will come back with a working set-up

The top is up in the picture on the right...
