i recently heard my smoke was from the oil pressure sending unit i had my 9/3 on a lift monday and could not find it can someone send a picture of exactly where its located i have the chance to get it on a lift again on wensday

to the left of the starter. Its like almost directly in the middle of the engine. Half way down the back side.

Easiest to change this way;

Disconnect Battery
Remove Upper Starter Bolt
Raise Car on Lift
Remove lower bolt
Carefully swing starter aside with wires still attached
Replace Oil Pressure Switch via oil sending unit socket or deep (21mm I think) with a notch cut down the side 3/4 of the way (for the connector wire to fit out)
Often you can "pop" the old ones out - good long straight pry bar or screw driver on a corner of the sensor and a good wack of a hammer will "break" it loose. Installing requires either a custom cut (stubby) wrench or a custom socket as mentioned.
