Can anyone tell me what these codes mean

Ok so recently I have had both check lights come on and off but now all of a sudden they stay on. I looked them up and this is what they are:
P0743 - Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical
P0340 - Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

Can anyone tell me what those mean and what parts could be broken, and how severe they are?
I mean I can definitely tell there is something wrong because some days when I drive and try and accelerate it feels as if the turbo burps and hesitates. Any help would be nice, thanks
