so im tired of sliding around my seat in my car
so ive been on the hunt for some lightly used reclinable buckets

ive got two sets ready available for me to buy

1st being these red recaro knockoffs that match my exterior
(they look like this)

next being these tenzoR seats that better match my gray/black interior
but are double the price

What's the pricing like?

I for one don't like the main part of the seat being an obnoxious color (red). The inserts are alright being a different color though, that said I personally would try to get the ones pictured. They retain a classy type look and not an all out street racer that should have 4/5pt harnesses to go with the seats.
do you see pics for both style seats im talking bout? (are there 2 pics posted?)

$200 for the red recaro knockoff
$400 for the tenzo R

quality of both are pretty much the same

Only the Tenzo R's are shown.
should show up now
$200/piece or $200/set?
$200 for the red "recaro" set
and and $400 for the tenzo set
Please don't get those red ones and tenzo's are all over ebay so really it's up to you? If it was me, I would get some Corbeau's which can be had for around 600 a pair.
Sit in both of them. Who knows, maybe one fits you better then the other.
i have sat in both kinds
the tenzo's dont have as high of bolsters
i like buckets to really hug you when you sit in them and i have sat in seats that hug you way more than the tenzo's in the pic, but the ones that do are usually hard back seats (non-reclinable)

are they an improvement over the stock seat? yes, by far
are there better seats than tenzos? yes... just gotta find them

i have yet to sit in the red "recaros"
Do you have to get them in a pair? Might be able to spend more to get a better one and just worry about you, the driver.
was thinking bout that... might consider it since most ppl that ride with me (i.e. girlfriend) think that bucket seats are extremely uncomfortable
there's a guy that makes replica seats that a few of my friends referred me to

which one?

wow... um, BRIDE - can you get them w/out the text? I do not care if it's a brand or w/e - but it might as well read BITCH lol That aside - those are by far way better looking seats. Again - as mentioned above - you may want to find a set and give them a sit to see how they fit. Why not just find some 2003 9-3 SE Vert "Viggen" Seats for the factory look and the racing seat feel? Cost might be about the same in the end.
grk, i imagine both of the original seats you linked are complete shit. theres a reason they are only $100-200/piece for a reclining seat.

as far as bride goes, they're a pretty well known brand. i wouldnt have a problem with either of those seats in my car, minus the fact that they are $1000-1500/piece from bride.
ya but i dont want to add more weight if i am to change seat in my car

i think the guy makes the seat without the txt as well
not sure on price ill find out though

how hard would making custom brackets be?
if, or when i do this ill let you know how difficult
Go with what seat will work best for you... comfort, budget, driving style(track time?)

On the red:
If your car is red then I think red seats would work. Find some supercars with red interiors for inspiration.

On Viggen seats:
I love them (2nd to 9k Aero seats though) and always want to put them in 900's - but when I rode shotgun with Nick Taliaferro (Nelson's Ledges track day at SOC) they did not offer enough support. My arm hurt bracing myself, holding the door handle to keep for flying/sliding around. Granted, that Viggen is a beast and he was really putting it though it's paces on the track.

Have you considered stock cloth/velour seats?

That's what I'm thinking putting in my "track" or project ng. I think they will keep me from sliding around enough - worked pretty well in my first car (9000t) on the backgrounds. Some weight savings to be gained with manual adjustment. Plus they are safe and easy to bolt in.

I don't really want to buy cheap racing seats (or expensive ones for that matter) anyway.
