I just got this back in the mail the other day. Its a big life changing momment for me. I've been dealing with this since back in September when I found out. Recently I had it confirmed through testing that I'm a dad. I'll get a picture scanned and posted the next time I'm on campus.

I've been a dad since a week after I turned 21, how ironic.

My son, Collin Edward Yeager, was born April 9th 2007. I don't get to see him much as I'm in Evansville and he is back home with his mother but I'm doing my best to finish school ASAP. Its a plus that the mom wants me to finish school and graduate. While I'm full of mixed emotions I'm sorta counting down the days till I teach my son what a saab is, how to work on them, and when, as Jak Stoll posted on TSN a while ago, I'll hear vroom psht from my back seat.

Its also shown me quite a bit about my character since this has all began.

My grades dropped after words cause I was worried and I had to bring them back up.
My 9000 died on me and I had to find a new car.
Got a loan knowing this was coming up and now I have car payments again.
Second semester was harder than non other and I nearly failed an accounting class and I pulled it back up to a C+.

All in all I've enjoyed learning more about myself and seeing what kinds and amounts of stress I can take.

Also whats funny is my job is like me being a dad except with two individuals that way as much as me.

There's a knuckle babies joke in there somewhere.
THe first thing I thought of was this might be the end of his leghumping days, but somehow I doubt that. :D

Congrats. I also know a few people who didn't stand up to the challenge. This is a refreshing change.

congrats dude and good luck. i kinda know how scary this can be.....only difference is that my ex had a miscarriage after like 3 months.

i have a ton of respect for people that handle this situation the way they should.

I just thought, when the kid is able to drive at 16 years old, Nahum will be 37, lol. And I'll be 32, Oh wow, that hurts.
...and I'll officially be over the hill.

Thanks for giving me that to think about. I didn't need to sleep tonight anyway.
