I never know what to say in situations like this, but it sounds like you're taking it fairly well (& as Drew says, stepping up). Congratulations.

 

Its also shown me quite a bit about my character since this has all began.

My grades dropped after words cause I was worried and I had to bring them back up.
My 9000 died on me and I had to find a new car.
Got a loan knowing this was coming up and now I have car payments again.
Second semester was harder than non other and I nearly failed an accounting class and I pulled it back up to a C+.

All in all I've enjoyed learning more about myself and seeing what kinds and amounts of stress I can take.

Also whats funny is my job is like me being a dad except with two individuals that way as much as me.

Yep. Planning on keeping it that way. My only cousin on my Dads side of the family has gone through this as well but the mother in his case hates him even though he has stepped up as well and done everything he can and is doing well.
