Guy in the local CNY region auto-x's the same exact thing, change of color of course. When he first started he would plow off cource and spin out, made for an awesome show. Now the guy kicks all of our butts, haha

Whether the guy can drive or not, I give him props for having the balls to go out there and drive his vehicle. I cant imagine a lot of saablinkers auto-x, which is too bad. I have only gotten 1 race in since I picked up the slaab, the new season starts up april 29th, cant wait.

Agreed. I'm getting really excited about racing this year. New wheels, tires, brakes, etc. Should be fun.

I would love to autocross but old saabs are not great to do it in for various reasons unfortunately. If I was staying with saab I would love to get a Sonett just to have fun though and not try to win anything.

You should auto-x the 9000. That car had a LOT of body roll from what I remember hehe.

 

Yeah about that...if money grew on trees I'd like to get a set of intrax springs for that car because they feel so weird driving. But Im really resisting the urge to spend any money on this car so that might not be for a little bit.

Yea going from my integra to the 900 in an autocross event was very interesting. The saab stocks likes to pull out of the corners a little quicker, but with a lot more tire spin. But the teg handled about a billion times better. So we will see if I want to keep auto-x'in her, or find another honda for a solo car.

 

I definately want to take the NG900 Autocrossing twice. Once before the rear ARB, Steering rack brace, and 6pt subframe brace, and once after to see the improvement.

 

i ran in STS-2 this summer and this was before any suspension mods besides my ARB and placed 5th out of 30sum cars, and wouldnt you know the four cars were gutted out hondas bith b18 swaps, damn hondas, lol. I was so angry because it was in the rain and as soon as i hit boost i started spinning really bad, and they didnt have any torque and could accelerate without spinning. Fu$%ing hondas...
