I know the MHI TD04HL-18T 6cm2 is a common replacement for high hp applications but has anyone heard of using a TD04HL-18T 7cm2? This is the more effecient choice but I need to know if it is a bolt on application or if there are modifications necessary to make it fit. It probably is not a bolt on fit or it would be the more common choice over the 6cm2.

IF you are referring to the Volvo Turbo it is quite a bit of work to make it bolt on DP flange is quite different. Also the compressor is far different.

You can pretty easily use the 6cm 9000 housing. Just a few simple changes.

Just did this today, changed the Viggen 5cm2 housing to the Aero 6cm housing. Pretty easy job, more info later.

Nick,
Will the 7cm2 bolt to the stock manifold or ideally the tubular SS header on your site? The DP isn't quite as big a concern as I had considered a custom fabrication for the DP/exhaust...at this point the manifold is a bigger concern. This is all still research and speculation at this point but plans are surely in the works for something serious! :twisted:
