Hi, a friend of mine in Europe has a '91 9000 and his APC gauge stopped moving. It's stuck in the 12' clock position and won't budge. Is this a vacuume operated gauge, i.e. could a tube be leaking air? Or is there an electronic sender? Any help will be much appreciated! GJ

welcome to the site!

and as for your question, yes it is vacuum operated, it should have a line plugged into the back of the instrument cluster.

if the gauge is stuck between the white section and the yellow/orange section then it probably just came unplugged, and you may want to check all the vacuum connections to the intake manifold, it most likely popped out from there.

The rubber vacuum hoses have a slight tendency to dry and break after some years.
It's probably a good idea to replace all of'em while he's at it.
