Anyone have wheel spacers?

Has anyone put wheel spacers on their 9-5. I have noticed, after driving an m3 around, that the 9-5 wheels are really "hidden" inside the car when looked at from the front. I would like to kick the wheels out a little to give it a little wider stance without buying new wheels and tires. Anyone have opinions?

The best way to get this affect would be to put on wheels with a wider offset. The BBS Rk I and IIs have some of the widest out there in Saab applications.

If you're set on spacers, there are a couple of companies out there that make them. Check out Eibach's offerings.

Spacers is on my long list for my car.
i might know a guy ill PM him and see what he can do, GB any one ????

just googled fender roller, that looks a little riskay if you ask me. i guess i'd have to see someone use it first.
it ant shit, i had done it on both of my G20's

Hundreds of thousands of people have done it.

Done right, it's just fine.

Shouldn't be too hard to make or have made. About how much were you wanting to space it out?
In my case, I was going to wait until I get my RK2's on, then see.

I'm thinking about 10 in the front and 20+ in the rear.

That looks kinda weak, IMHO.

Quite a few companies make these, but not many (that I am aware of) use them on saabs.

When I was looking into the Porsche brake upgrade, Mr. Saunders helped me out with some info:

"You'll need longer lugbolts, which I got from a place in Cali called Prestige Wheel"

I never did much research beyond that. I have seen bolts on ebay that you could pitch match and try out, but that's iffy.

I am *pretty* sure the wheel bolts that came with all of the NESA fondmetal wheels are 2mm longer than regular. I think this is the same length the original BBS came with. Doesn't help too much with a spacer though.

I would rather do hub-centric and just use longer bolts. Yes, more stress on longer bolts, but I'd rather add 5mm onto a bolt then rely on only 5mm of thread depth for a bolt to hold.

the spacer would have 10 whole's 5 of them would be threaded and the other 5 would be taperd so that the nut/stud would still sit flat. this might be a better shot

Round, like the spacers.

I can see the advantages in both...

It looks like for our cars, you will have to use both styles.

On my 9-3, the front wheel sits pretty well...5-10mm would be enough to make things look *really* nice. Or you could just leave them. The wheel is almost flush with the fender as is.

On the rear, it's a whole new ball game.

well if the look of the BBS's are the look that is trying to be matched i can do some math and see what i can come up with, what is the offset of the oem 95/93 wheels ? and they are 7 in wide right
