Anyone convert an automatic to manual tranny?

I know I ran over a post about someone converting a 9-5 or 9000 but I was wondering if anyone has info on doing an NG 900.

I've got a manual transmission from a '95 to work from. I'd track down a hydraulic unit to install per Dmitry's how-to.

Seems cheaper to buy an NG900, than to buy all the parts to do the swap.

Case in point, my black 9-3SE vs fixing my old 95 900SE.
I've already got a '98 900 SE automatic and a donor '95 900 SE manual.

I'm just checking to see if there are any folks out there that have done it to a NG 900 or OG 9-3.

Whether or not I actually do the hydraulic conversion is up to my wallet.
If you have a parts car, that will be the easiest and best way to perform the swap otherwise you will be chasing down the niggling little parts. It is very straight forward as the car already has every provision and mounting location you need for the tranny, shifter, and pedals (note: you need a manual trans brake pedal as well as the clutch pedal).

I was going to do this swap but it is not worthwhile because these automatics are very very good and are much more reliable than the manuals. You do gain a lot more driver involvement and control over the car though, that is the only reason I would do it.
I'm pretty sure JK has done it on his 9000.

Hardest part is mounting the clutch pedal due to space.

An STL member did with his 9-3 or 900 last year in the spring.
It's possible and not that hard ... I'm sure someone here has done it ,I can try to lend a hand, I believe there is something about sensonic to manual on genuine
